Please come and join us for the Fourth Annual Melissa Fund SUN RUN™ -- a 5K Run / WALK event.
This year’s race proceeds will be donated to the Skin Cancer Foundation (www.skincancer.org) in the fund’s name to further Melanoma research and education.
For reference, this event is an official, USATF timed race open to runners, walkers, children and parents with strollers. We highly encourage families to participate, especially because Melanoma is very often a young person’s cancer. It is important to educate children, parents, and young men and women on the dangers of this deadly disease - and the simple steps to protection. The timed race encourages the participation of more serious adult and teen runners. The walking group will start right after the runners. Non-running adults, teens, children, parents with strollers, and (children friendly) dogs on leashes are all welcome to participate in the walking group. There will also be a short children's "run" right before the start of the official race.

Race Start: 10:00 a.m. (please arrive by 9:45 a.m. if pre-registered)

Please enter via W. 103rd St. ramp at Riverside Dr.
Alternate entrance available via steps at 108th Street

Online / Mail Registration: $30.00 - must be received by May 12th
Race Day Registration: $35.00 - forms available at check-in
